When I Get Home is a collaborative book consisting of road signs found throughout the drive between Asheville and Boone, North Carolina. Consisting of reproductions of film photos taken over the span of two years, as well as sketches of the surrounding environments. The book shows these signs as not only landmarks of Appalachian folkways but also indicators of place and home.
